There’s one more White Rock Local Market this weekend. And it’s a big one, lots of vendors of arts & crafts & food. There’s a couple of bands playing. The hours are extended, we’ll be there from 9am until 3pm to help cross those names off that list of presents to buy. If you live in Dallas, or are lucky enough to be here this Saturday, December 10, come by the White Rock Local Market and see what I haul out of my studio and bring along.  I’ve been working on more catnip snakes, hand drawn on fabric and stuffed with fluff and catnip. Cats love them. Some dogs do too. A fun time will be had by all. Come see us and shop local. Talk to the folks who make this stuff or grow it. Try that at Walmarts. 7-Dec-11 This Friday, November 18, from 5:30pm until 9:00pm I'll be down in the Dallas Arts District with all my critter creations for the 3rd Friday Art Crawl. Should be a great time, music, food, museums open late and local art for sale. I was one of eleven Plush Team members to be honored with creating a corduroy plush piece for the Corduroy Appreciation Club's NYC festivities commemorating the day that most resembles corduroy, 11/11/11. Come by and say hi! 05-Oct-11 My Gato de Frida Kahlo is part of this show that opens Friday at the Starkweather Arts Center in Romeo, Michigan. The exhibition will be on display through November 5. I unfortunately will not be able to view the show in person and hope to see lots of photos. Come by and join the fun. I'll be there with all my critter creations. 07-May-11 There is a new gallery in Saint Petersburg, Florida called eve-N-odd. They are having a bunny show opening April 9th and I and some of my fellow Plush Team members are sending bunnies. Mine is a multi-colored crocheted bunny named Babette and you can see her here on my Flickr stream. Check the gallery link above for address if you live in Saint Pete's and want to see the bunnies in person. 21-Mar-11 The Plush Team, of which I am a long time member, is kicking the new year off with a show at the Hot Pop Gallery in Milwaukee, WI. Plush Team in Candyland opens January 21. I sent two striped critters, a peppermint pup and a candy cane cat.
